3D Printing is a technology that has emerged over the past few years that only now is starting to realise its potential. We have a machine here at Plowman Brothers that is capable of producing components that would be difficult to produce using traditional techniques. In particular, we have found it invaluable in producing prototypes for use in research and development elsewhere in the business; we can also produce ‘one-off’ items to a customer’s design if required.
