- Assembly and installation of wiring looms on new trailers and platform bodies

Applicants should have previous experience working as an electrician in any discipline – full training will be provided on our systems.
The role also involves other aspects of electrical work such as 3 phase installations and equipment maintenance.

Contracted to 40 hours per week with hourly rate dependent on experience, Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm with one hour for lunch. Additional hours available.
We require an experienced CNC machine programmer/ operator with a proven track record of working with multiple machines to run Haas, XYZ & CMA turning and milling equipment in our machine shop.
- Machine setting and operation for both Turning and milling including Y Axis twin spindle lathe.
- Working with engineering drawings.
- Checking tolerances.
- Maintaining good housekeeping.
- Assembly of components when required.
- Ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
- Contributing with ideas for areas of improvement.
Previous experience working with this range of machines would be an advantage although equipment specific training will be provided.

Working with on a number of projects and with different design engineers you will be required to develop and process CAD drawings, making them suitable for manufacture and then overseeing the project through the build process. Right from interpretation of the sales order and confirming raw materials requirements, component lead time and creating CNC files for profiling and machining to fabrication, assembly, paint and finishing.
Good time management/ people skills and experience using CAD are required, preferably from the Autodesk family but if an aptitude for CAD can be shown in other programs previous experience of AutoCAD is not essential.
All ability levels will be considered, from time served to college leaver as we are looking for candidates with a genuine passion for engineering, along with the motivation and drive to succeed within our industry. Experience within the commercial vehicle or agricultural industry is preferred but not essential.

Hours of work 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week on a permanent contract. Salary based on experience.
You would initially assist others with larger projects to build up your knowledge of the company processes. This would lead to individual project management once established. You would be involved in all aspects of manufacturing environment, from the concept right through to the delivery of a finished product to the customer, then beyond this to after sales care, giving valuable insight into the performance of a product leading to further development. The role also requires time to be spent on the shop floor over seeing work offering good variety from day to day.
While working towards your technical qualification your aim is to enhance practical skills and knowledge through on the job training in a commercial production environment. College attendance would involve aspects of hands on training.

Training will be based around core skills required to be a well-rounded engineer to include the following;
- Fabrication and welding.
- Plant & Equipment maintenance and repair.
- Hydraulic & electrical system service and installation.
- Machinery operation.
You will work alongside skilled engineers to gain an understanding of the processes, plant and equipment used across our manufacturing facility. Training will be based around core skills required to be a good engineer to include the following;
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Marking out, cutting and drilling materials
- Preparing and grinding material in prep of welding
- Assembly of parts
- Jig making
